not actually process your payment details.

Creation Sports hosts all websites,
including the Creation Sports company website
with Supanames who

Why do we offer a 2-year plan?
While it might seem peculiar for Creation Sports to offer a 2-year contract
for the rental of their websites, this is actually for a very good reason. In
the UK, registration of ".co.uk" is set for a period of
2 years, as regulated by Nominet. So, when you choose your website domain
name you will have it for 2 years, after which time you will be invited to
renew for another 2 years. Therefore, it makes sense that the hosting
of your Creation Sports website follows this same 2-year registration period.
Nominet UK is the registry for .uk internet names and manages a central database
of domain names ending in .uk. The company was established in 1996 and is recognised
by the UK internet community as the official manager of the .uk Top Level Domain
(TLD). Just as Companies House holds authoritative records for company names,
or the DVLA for driving licences, Nominet maintains the database of .uk registered
internet names.They manage the authoritative database of .uk domain name registrations
and are a not-for-profit company with members instead of shareholders.

How much does it cost to buy
a domain name?
If you choose a domain name
when signing up a Creation Sports website
there is no charge for the domain name.
That's right, you'll get it absolutely
free!
If you buy a domain name from elsewhere the price depends very much on where
you buy it. The sale of all domain names ending in the suffix .co.uk are regulated
by Nominet. They must
be bought for a minimum of two years (this is the reason we offer a two year
web design package). Other "global" domain names such as .com, can be bought
for different periods of time depending on where you buy them from, but generally
you can expect to own the name for 2 years before being given the option to
renew. TOP
What domain names can I choose?
This is a great opportunity
to choose the name of your business so
that your website is instantly recognisable.
If your business name is already taken,
you might want to think about a different
version of it. For example if the domain
name www.creationsports.co.uk was already
taken, you could try adding a dash between
the words for example www.creation-sports.co.uk
.
Of course, you are free to choose any domain name that you desire, so long
as it is not rude, offensive, degrading or vulgar in any way. Creation Sports
will not host any website or be associated with any business that does not
uphold strong moral and professional values. TOP
I want a .com domain name
instead of a .co.uk, is this possible?
Yes of course. While Creation
Sports prefers you to choose a domain name
that ends .co.uk, and can provide you with
one for FREE, you can choose any suffix
you like. However, Creation Sports hosts
it's websites with a company called Supanames who
classify non-UK domain names, such as .com,
as "global" domain names. As such they
charge an additional £7.50 per year,
plus VAT, to host them. Therefore Creation
Sports must pass on these costs, and since
we buy all domain names as standard for
2-years, this results in an additional
one-off fee of £20.00 (including
VAT) for any websites hosted under the
domain names .com. TOP
Who owns the domain name?
Simply put, you do, at all times.
Regardless of whether you choose a domain
name for free when signing up to the Creation
Sports website service, or if you have
bought one from another source, the domain
name belongs to you.
However, since Creation Sports will be hosting the website (our product) on
your domain name, as you will appreciate, we must to protect ourselves from
the possibility of theft. Creation Sports will therefore retain sole access
of the domain names' log on and password information for the duration of your
subscription. Should you wish to cancel your subscription, Creation Sports
will first remove the website before handing back full access to the domain
name. There is no charge for the release of your domain name at the end of

I want to purchase the domain
name myself so that I retain the rights,

to purchase the domain name for yourself,
or if you have already bought a domain

Companies such as Freeserve
often provide business packages that include
features such as building your own website.
Since Supanames must host all Creation
Sports sites, domain names must be transferred
across from your existing host to Supanames.
While there is no charge from Creation
Sports or Supanames for this, your existing
host may charge you a release fee. Not
all hosts will charge this, but any cost
have to be paid for by you. TOP
Will I get an e-mail address?
Yes, as standard you will
be able to set up an e-mail account using
your domain name as part of the e-mail
address, e.g. info@your-domain-name.co.uk
.
However, as an "anti-spam" measure, you
will not be provided with an SMTP e-mail
account. This means that you will not be able to send out-going e-mails using
this address, but you will be able to receive in-coming e-mails. This is a
standard limitation imposed by our host company Supanames, which we fully endorse.
As a result, you will need to use your own existing e-mail account for sending
out-going e-mails.
If you wish, it is possible to upgrade your domain name to allow for out going
e-mails to be sent from your e-mail address. This upgrade is charged by our
host company at an additional cost of £10, plus VAT, per month.TOP
How many e-mail addresses
will I get?
As standard your website
will come with what's known as a "Catch
All" e-mail address. All emails sent to
any email address at your domain name,
e.g. info@your-domain-name.co.uk and sales@your-domain-name.co.uk
and johnathon@your-domain-name.co.uk ,
will be sent directly to your same inbox.
While this only gives you one inbox, it
does allow you to instantly have an unlimited
number of e-mail addresses for incoming
mail. If additional e-mails inboxes are
required your monthly rentals can be upgraded
to allow for this. Contact Creation Sports
if you wish to enquire about this upgrade. TOP
Can I forward e-mails directly
to my existing e-mail account?
With the standard hosting
package you get one inbox (capable of storing
up to 100mb) that all e-mails sent to you
will be placed into. By using the free
webmail service provided by Supanames,
you can read your email using any internet
enabled PC from anywhere in the world.
You simply enter your email details to
read, reply, delete or forward your messages
to your existing e-mail account. TOP
I have no current email account
but want to send emails as well as
receive what are my options?
If you do not yet have an
e-mail address, it is very easy to set
up a basic one. These can usually be done
for free simply by going to online companies
such as Yahoo, Hotmail, Virgin, etc and
signing up to their e-mail accounts. If
you look around you will find plenty of

How do I customise the look
of my website?
Upon subscribing to the Creation
Sports website service, you will be sent
an e-mail containing a link to our sign
up pages. Here you will find specially
created forms that guide you through the
steps required to design the pages of your
own website.TOP
What pages can I customise?
As standard you will be able
to customise the look of the entire website.
Each page will repeat the same look and
feel of your business, allowing each page
to build continuity and depth.
In addition to this, on many of the pages you will be able to type your own
text, giving your site a truly personal touch. These pages include the homepage,
services page, your profile and your contact information.TOP
Can I edit the website directly
myself as I have the software to do
it?
No, and we must insist upon
this in order to protect ourselves from
possible theft. Unless Creation Sports
has sole control over how the site looks
we not only risk having our website (our
product) stolen, but also our company image
since we pride ourselves on providing a
professional standard of website. If we
allow others to do their own editing, we
risk compromising our high standards. TOP
Do I own the graphics and
information on my website?
No, Creation Sports retains
copywrite of all information and images
hosted on your site, however, as a customer;
you have permission to use the information
and images for the purposes of your website
for the length of your contract with Creation
Sports.TOP
Can I use my own graphic instead
of the ones you suggest?
Yes, of course, simply e-mail us a copy of the image you want to use when you
are designing the look of your website. TOP
Can I use the graphic on my
website on other printed material,
such as posters?
Creation Sports offers a printing service that allows you to quickly and easily
create printed material reflecting the look of your website. Therefore, any
printed material that is designed and printed by Creation Sports can display
your web image. However, if you choose to create your own printed material,
or ask a printer to design it for you, the image on your website is copywritten
and therefore cannot be used. TOP
How does the online shop work?
Although the shop is displayed
within a frame on your website, the design,
layout and content is controlled by Creation
Sports, which includes the choice of products
for sale. Since the shop will be appearing
on your website we are sensitive to the
fact that products need to represent the
same high levels of quality that your business
does. Therefore we strive to source products
that meet the high demands of our customers.
We are also open to suggestions for new
products to be added to the shop. After
all, the greater the variety, the better
it is for everyone.
When a product is sold from your website, the order comes through to Creation
Sports and we send out the requested item(s) direct to the customer. An automatic
record of the sale is made, including from which website the product(s) were
purchased. This information is then used to create the commission reports that
we then pay to the relevant business. TOP
How much commission do I earn?
When you sign up to create
your own website, you will be sent a copy
of our latest price list as a PDF file.
This contains a full list of all the products
available on the online shop, the Retail
Price and the level of commission paid
on that product. Creation Sports reserves
the right to alter the retial price or
levels of commission at any time. TOP
Who takes care of deliveries
and returns?
Creation Sports packages
the order received and posts them direct
to the customer using Royal Mail.
If any of the customers who purchase product(s) from your shop are unhappy
with them for any reason, they can contact Creation Sports directly. Contact
information is contained on the payment receipt that accompanies the delivery. TOP
How does my commission get
paid to me?
Creation Sports will send
you a cheque when the level of commission
you have earned reaches £50.00. This
is due to the Pay Pal withdrawal fees,
which charges a fee on all withdrawals
under £50.00. If you cancel your
website, or choose not to renew, Creation
Sports will send you a cheque minus any
Pay Pal / Nochex withdrawal fees. TOP
How do I know how much commission
I have earned?
We will send you a report
via e-mail every month in the form of a
PDF file. This report will list all of
the information you will need, including
the products sold, commission value for
a single unit, number of items sold to
date, the number sold last month, the total
commission earned, commission payment history,
and of course, the total amount of commission
owed to you. TOP
What if I disagree with any
of the products that are for sale?
Unfortunately individual
products cannot be removed, however, as
standard, there is a disclaimer at the
top of the shop page. Creation Sports is
also very sensitive about the products
or type of products chosen and welcomes
your comments or feedback. TOP
Can I have my own website
without the online shop?
Yes, if you do not wish to
earn commission from the free shop that
can be displayed on your website then it
can be moved at any time. However, since
the shop is a free option, removal of the
shop does not affect the rental prices
for the website. TOP
How do I add extra pages and
how much does it cost?
Additional pages can be added
to your site at anytime for a one-off fee
of £35 per page. The addition of
extra pages does not affect monthly rental
fees. TOP
How do I design the additional
pages that I want?
All you have to do is send
Creation Sports an e-mail requesting the
addition of a new page to your site and
we will send you a link to a web page that
simply allows you to enter all the information
we require to create the extra page. TOP
Can I have a discussion forum
of my own?
A private discussion is not
an option available to standard customers
since the hosting package will not support
it. However, if you want one it can be
done! The customer will be fully responsible
for running and maintaining the forum.
Once hosted, Creation Sports has no further
responsibilities.

Unfortunately, we have not
yet found a stable and reliable guest book
that we are willing to integrate into our
service. Therefore, this is not an option
available to standard customers at the

Yes, Creation Sports has
made this very easy for you. We have designed
template business cards, headed paper, "With
Compliment" slips, bookmarks and postcards.
They not only reflect the look of your
website, thereby adding to your branding,
but also allow you to quickly add and edit
your own text. Simply send this finished
design to us and we will have them printed
and sent on to you when completed.

This is a very simple process.
All you have to do is e-mail Creation Sports
are request for further information regarding
the particular type of printed material
you desire. We will then send you the appropriate
design page for you to fill out at your
own leisure. Once you have sent it back,
just pay for it on our shop and we will

my business?
Yes, of course! Prices for
logo design starts at just £25 per
hour, much less than you would expect to

Unfortunately statistics
on individual websites cannot be produced
at present, although we are working on
ways of bringing this information to you

What happens at the end of
my contract?
When you reach the end of
your 1-year or 2-year contract, Creation
Sports will send you an e-mail in advance,
notifying you of the time remaining.
We will give you the opportunity to continue
by renewing for another fixed period or
to end your website. If you wish to continue
we will register your domain for another
two years and your hosting will continue.
If you do not wish to carry on, your domain
name will not be renewed and your site
removed from the Internet when the renewal
date expires. TOP
How do I cancel your service?
When signing up to the web
design service you are agreeing to fulfil
a 1 or 2 year contract of payments. While
contracts can be terminated early, full
remaining payment must be made. Requests
for cancellations must be made in writing
and sent to Creation Sports, 25 Bedford

If I cancel the service do
I get to keep the website?
No. The website and images
remain the property of Creation Sports
and will be removed from the Internet when
the service is cancelled by the customer.
The domain name, username and password
will returned to you, unless you have reached
the end of the two years ownership in which
case you will be given the option to repurchase
domain name.
Your e-mail account will remain active so long as your domain name has not
